About the Role
L.A Global Limited is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Driver to join our Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, personnel, and equipment while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Operate company vehicles (cars, vans, or trucks) safely and efficiently for deliveries, pickups, and other transport needs.
✔ Ensure proper vehicle maintenance (fuel, oil, tire pressure, etc.) and report mechanical issues promptly.
✔ Follow planned routes and schedules while optimizing for time and fuel efficiency.
✔ Assist with loading/unloading cargo securely to prevent damage.
✔ Maintain accurate logbooks for trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
✔ Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
✔ Provide professional and courteous service to clients and team members.
Requirements & Qualifications
✔ Valid driver’s license (Class B or higher, depending on vehicle type).
✔ Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience (logistics/corporate preferred).
✔ Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
✔ Strong knowledge of local and interstate routes.
✔ Basic vehicle maintenance skills (e.g., checking oil, tire changes).
✔ Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) and assist with cargo handling.
✔ Excellent time management, punctuality, and communication skills.
✔ Tech-savvy (ability to use GPS and logistics apps).
